Tekni-Plex Technologies in Suzhou, China to Exhibit at the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo 2007

SUZHOU, CHINA – Tekni-Plex Technologies in Suzhou, China,
will be exhibiting at Booth #A264 at the 12th annual China Fisheries & Seafood Expo 2007 on November 6 – 8, 2007 in Dalian, China. The show is one of the top three seafood shows in the world and the largest show held in China, which produces two thirds of the world’s aquaculture and is the single biggest market for aquaculture products.

Colorite Plastics Company Names Ben Williams as Product Development Manager for Aeration Products

RIDGEFIELD, NJ – Colorite Plastics Company, the world’s leading producer of aeration and garden hose, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Williams to head up its Aeration Products division. In his new role, Williams will oversee the sales and marketing efforts of several new aeration products currently being introduced to the aquaculture and wastewater industries worldwide.

“Ben brings more than a decade of experience in product development and sales management in the aquaculture industry to Colorite. His outstanding contacts and experience combined with Colorite’s innovative new AeroTube ™ aeration technology will result in a rapid acceleration of our activities around the world,” said Gene Zimmerman, Vice President, Consumer Products Division of Colorite.

Prior to his appointment at Colorite, Williams served as Sales Manager for the Americas for biotechnology leader, Aqua Bounty Technologies. He held a similar position with Magic Valley Heli-Arc, a global aquaculture equipment manufacturer. He also spent 5 years with Zeigler Bros., Inc. working in sales and product development. Williams holds a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Utah.

Colorite’s AeroTube ™ Unveiled at 2007 Aquaculture Show

Colorite Plastics Company, a division of Tekni-Plex, Inc. pleased to announce its AeroTube ™, a more affordable and durable aeration tube at the 2007 Aquaculture Show in San Antonio, TX. Colorite will be exhibit its AeroTube™ at the show at booth #131.

The AeroTube ™ is Colorite’s answer to the traditional aeration devices on the market today – paddle wheels and air stones. The AeroTube ™ continuous bubble aeration tubes deliver oxygen in volumes that are unmatched by other systems, and at an energy cost that is often less than half than that of conventional systems. Colorite’s AeroTube ™ Partcipates in Ugandan FISH Project

Colorite Plastics Company, a division of Tekni-Plex, Inc. pleased to announce its AeroTube ™, is being used a FISH (Fisheries Investment For Sustainable Harvest) lead project. FISH is a USAID-funded program aimed at cultivating commercial development of aquaculture in Uganda.

The AeroTube ™ is Colorite’s answer to the traditional aeration devices on the market today – paddle wheels and air stones. Colorite’s AeroTube™ has numerous applications in aquaculture, including raceways, partitioned aquaculture systems, recirculating systems, hatcheries, grow-out ponds, acge culture and haul trucks.

FISH’s Uganda activities are building on feed-based technologies and best management practices for Nile tilapia and clarias catfish. Specifically the goal is to improve the quality and quantity of available seed and feeds in that region. Such commercial feed production is vital to the success of a long-term sustainable aquaculture industry in Uganda. FISH has also established a competitive fund in conjunction with the project. The hope is that the fund will foster entrepreneurial spirit amongst businesses (farms, feed manufacturers, etc.) to improve existing technologies and increase business development. The timing of the Uganda project is May 2005 – September 2008.
